What kind of peace the most dangerous profession?

Many village residents can remember a couple of "horror stories", stories about accidents at work. For example, in Minsk, not so long ago fell from the tower crane in the cockpit. Neither the innocent young woman received serious injuries.
But it turns out, the profession of the crane is not the most dangerous. The specialists of occupational safety and health are not distributed among special place dismal ratings. But, nevertheless, in recent years clearly viewed certain trends.
Sustained high rates of injuries and fatalities during working hours among automobile drivers. The first is, of course, due to the fact that the accident reports for a long time resemble the front, which, however, does not reduce the number of people wishing to sit behind the wheel.

It turns out those high levels of morbidity and mortality among the various locksmiths: repairmen, plumbers, car mechanic, and others. In agriculture, the primacy keeps machine operators, as they recently called tractor.
Is no less dangerous group of professions related to woodworking? Among them are carpenters, carpenters and machine operators of various woodworking machines. The construction industry often suffers fitters and laborers. Many victims among the welders and electricians.
When a grandmother and grandfather retired arranged in schools and organizations to guard the "socialist property". But today the profession of the guard is a risk zone, the most virulent, and handles it increasingly difficult for an inexperienced retiree.
The most common cause of death in the workplace (18.5% of all cases) on the results of the last in 2007 - falling from a height. In the next place, 18.1% of all causes - fatal injuries received by moving, rotating and fluttering objects. The same number of deaths due to road accidents.
The cause of death was 9.9% fall, collapse or collapse of structures, buildings, structures, objects, materials and soil. 8.2% of casualties suffered electric shocks, and 4,3% - from poisoning.
Various commissions to investigate the facts of accidents at work, as reasons for the tragedies in 18 cases out of every hundred were named non managers and professionals of its obligations under health and safety. In 8.8% of the cases the victims did not really represent imminent danger, and did not know how to use safe methods of work. Nearly 7% of incidents appear faulty mechanisms, and in more than 5% - unsatisfactory jobs. In other words, almost half of all injuries and deaths caused by shortfalls in management and organization of production.
No less to blame, and the employees themselves. About 19% of accidents occurred as a result of violations of labor and production discipline, safety instructions. In eight cases, one hundred and perpetrators of incidents showed elementary carelessness and inattention, and 1,4% for some reason ignored the established means of individual protection.
Many people suffered as a result of drinking and drug use. Among the total number of victims found only 4.4%, but among those killed nearly a third of them.
As you see, blame both sides, and those who organize production, and those who do the work. Unfortunately, our famous "maybe" does not always help. Is it not better, despite the proverb - the cross before a clap of thunder?
